Barb Pulfer
For the last nineteen years, Barb Pulfer has brought her knowledge, experience, athletic background and passion for healing, healthy living and competitive sports to NSMC.

Barb Pulfer’s clinical focus over the past 25 years has been in the areas of Sports and orthopedic injuries.
Having competed at the National and International level in swimming, triathlon and dragonboat, she has a deep personal understanding of the physical, technical and emotional requirements of high level sport.
This enhances her ability to successfully treat, rehabilitate, and return to sport athletes of all ages. Her experience includes treating national level swimmers, divers, triathletes, gymnasts, football players, paddlers and rugby players.
She is focused on helping clients of all ages and abilities maintain a lifelong healthy active lifestyle. She volunteers time and expertise in the community through coaching and advising fellow athletes.
Barb is a registered physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherpists of Ontario. She regularly updates and enhances her physiotherapy skills with specialized clinical courses in order to best serve her diverse clientele.
Most recently, she has become qualified in Functional Dry Needling and Radial Shockwave application.
In addition to her formal physiotherapy training, Barb is a NCCP Level 2 swim coach with more than 15 years experience. She has completed 2 Ironman triathlons, competed at the World Club Crew Championships for Dragonboat and was twice named Simon Fraser University Athlete of the Year (swimming).
She continues to be an avid cyclist, runner, skier and swimmer and enjoys sharing her passion for these activities and with family and friends.
